Born and bred on a one million acre property near Katherine in the Northern Territory, Darrel spent his younger years working in the rural sector training and trading thoroughbreds including group one race horses for Gay Waterhouse, Chris Waller and Bart Cummings.

Having had a lifelong friendship with the Principal at McLaren Real Estate, Lincon McLaren, Darrel jumped at the opportunity when asked if he would like to venture into the property world alongside his good friend – and he has never looked back.

Darrel's philosophy on life is simple: ‘treat others as you would have them treat you’ and that's why he is enjoying such great success within the industry.

Darrel has assigned himself the task of making every sale he takes on a shining example of why vendors consider him as their go-to person. Darrel has a unique ability to communicate with buyers and sellers alike in a manner that is informative, respectful and with empathy for their individual needs.
